What if I can’t use my vouchers in the next 12 months or I decide that I don’t want it, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately all flights are non-refundable but we have made these vouchers fully transferable so you can give them to family and friends.

 

How long are my flight vouchers valid for?

Return airfare vouchers are valid for travel within 12 months from the date of issue as show on the front of the voucher.

 

Do I have to fly and stay my 7 nights at the same time?

No you don't.  You do have to book both the flights and pay for the accommodation at the time of booking the flights but you can choose to stay your 7 nights later in the 12 months.

 

Where do I go to book my flights and accommodation?

Once you have purchased your pack, your vouchers can only be redeemed by filling out the booking form and sending or faxing it through to us. You put the dates you want to travel and the resort you would like to stay at on the form and once we have checked availability, we send you an invoice and all you have to do is pay this and your tickets will be send straight to you.

 

Can I travel in school holidays and at Christmas time?

Yes you can, however flights over these periods are limited therefore you need to book as far in advance as you can.

 

Can my children fly on these vouchers?

In some cases,  yes.  With each flight package you are able to book 2 return airfares however at the same time you need to book 7 night accommodation per pack.  If you have brought 2 packs and are going to book 14 nights accommodation then you need to fill out 2 booking forms.  The booking forms need to have one adult / one child on each and both need to be for 7 nights accommodation. 

You cannot book 4 flights on two packs ( 2 children / 2 adults)  and stay only 7 nights.

 

Can I use my Funtastic Holidays vouchers with the flights?

No unfortunately you can't.  To qualify for the flights you need to stay for 7 nights at a Stella or affiliated resort at the standard rates.

 

Can I use one of the Funtastic $550 capped vouchers for my accommodation with the flights?

You need to purchase 7 nights accommodation from the Stella website at the normal rates so you qualify to get the flight pack.  You can use your $550 capped voucher for another holiday as these are valid for 24 months!

 

I haven't received a catalogue of the Stella Resorts only a list?

At the moment Stella Resorts are reprinting the catalogues as they are adding in all of the new resorts.  These catalogues will be available to you after March 31st.  Until then, Stella have loaded all of the new resorts on their website and the link to this is on the front page of our website under “Available resorts”

 

What ratings are your resorts?

Most of our resorts are in the Stella group and they range from 3 stars through to 5 stars.

 

Are there restrictions on the use of the travel voucher?

Everything is subject to availability but the earlier you book the best chance you have of getting what your request.

 

If I don't need to stay 7 nights what can you do?

These vouchers can only be used with a minimum of 7 nights. You can stay a shorter time but you still will need to stay 7 nights.  We do have a product that has short discount stays but not with flights.

 

Can we stay more than 7 nights?

Yes you can and we can offer you a great deal on the 2nd week.

 

Can I buy a voucher for friends or family?

Yes you can, just give us their details and we will send the pack out.

 

When will I receive my pack?

Within 10 business days.

 

How far ahead can our members book?

Typically you can book our flights and accommodation 12 months out from start date.

 

What if I have 2 children and 2 adults in my family and want a 7 night holiday?

If you buy 1 pack, you and your partner will have their flights covered by the voucher and you will only have to purchase the flights for your children.

 

What if I am a single parent and I want my child who is 7 to receive the second flight voucher?

Yes you can do this; in this event we would consider the child to be an adult.

 

Can I request specific accommodation when I want to book my holiday?

Priority will be given to your first preference and thereafter your 2nd, 3rd and 4th options in order. We suggest that you book and confirm as early as possible to ensure availability at your first choice.

 

Can you make arrangements for children to travel with a voucher holder?

Yes, the booking office will advise you of the best possible fares on your travel dates. You can nominate the number of bedrooms you require for your family on the booking form.

 

Can we fly with our own choice of airline?

No, your carrier is at the complete discretion of Fantastic however we only book leading airlines.

 

Can we depart from one airport and return to another?

No, your flights must depart and return to the same airport via the same route.

 

Can we use our voucher and book directly with the airlines our selves?

No.

 

Can we stay at our selected resort for the minimum period and then stay with friends or make a visit to another city at our own expense?

Yes, as long as you notify us at the time of booking and the minimum number of nights (7) accommodation requirements are met.

 

How long does the booking form take to process?

On receiving one, it takes no more than 48 hours to process.

 

How long is the accommodation and flights held once an invoice has been issued?

The accommodation is held for 45 days but there are no holds on flights so you need to ensure these are paid for straight away.

 

If I purchase a pack now and want to book next week, do I have to wait for my pack to arrive?

In most cases yes you do.

 

If I am flying from or to Perth is there any other extra charges?

Due to the price of airfares to Perth, there is a extra sector cost of $100 per person payable at the time of booking.

Can I use my "Big Red Holidays" card with the flights?

Unfortunately you can't use this travel card with your flight bookings. You can however use this card at another time and receive great savings.

 

Any changes to your flight or accommodation booking will incur an additional fee.
